The Pushkar Fair
is held for five days and culminates on the auspicious
Fool moon day of the Hindu month of Kartik. This year
the festivities will take place in November. Pushkar
Fair is very popular among tourists from all over
the world. Rajasthan & Pushkar Camel Fair-2008
is an annual tour that incorporates interesting tourist
places in Rajasthan with camel, elephant rides. It
offers an opportunity to mingle, experience and participate
in the most colorful festivities of local people.
A tented city is created adjacent to Pushkar Lake
during the full moon days in November. It glows with
colors as thousands of men & women cover the sand
dunes and indulge in festivities, trade in livestock,
handicrafts, participate in camel races, folk dance,
and drama and music competitions. The evenings are
possessed with its own charm, lighted lamps creates
a spectacular view on the scared lake. The silent
night pierced by camel calls, folk lores, dramas and
heart throbbing beats of folk music and dances. The
fair attracts a great number of tourists from far
and wide. The fair grounds reverberate with festivity,
as rows of make shift stalls display a bewildering
array items. The profusion of colors that run riot
in the desert sand, the glee and the contagious enthusiasm
of the village folk are a unique experience for every
visitor. Festive India has a magical flavor and unique
romance to it. Visiting India during colorful festivals
is an added pleasant experience.

Delhi |
Delhi: Arrive Delhi, India.
On arrival at Delhi's international
airport, we will meet at the arrival
hall outside immigration & transferred
to the hotel. Afternoon visit the
red fort comprising exquisite palaces
reflecting Mugal Architecture .Enjoy
a rickshaw ride through the colorful
& bustling Chandini chawk bazaars
of Delhi. Overnight at hotel. |

Agra |
Delhi/Agra: In the morning
we will continue to explore Delhi.
visit the Qutab Minar, the astonishing
victory tower built in the early 13'th
century,a masterpiece of a perfect
proportions . We also visit Humayun's
tomb, one of the earliest monuments
of the grand Mughal empire. Afternoon
Transfer by car/coach to Agra, the
city of world's most famous love story,
Taj Mahal. visit the world famous
Taj Mahal at sunset, built by the
Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for
his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine
her mortal remains.The Taj Mahal is
considered to the ultimate symbol
of love with its Majestic marble domes
& elegant minarates. |

Bharatpur |
Agra/Bharatpur: In the
Morning visit the Agra Fort containing
the pearl mosque and the hall of public
and private audience. Also, visit
Itmad-Ud-Daula's Tomb built by Empress
Noorjahan in memory of her father.Transfer
by car / coach to Bharatpur and visit
Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary, the
largest concentration of exotic birds
in Asia and nesting ground of thousands
of egrets, Siberian cranes, waterfowls
and other rare species. En-route visit
Fatehpur Sikri - the now deserted
capital built by emperor Akbar. You
will visit some fabulous palaces and
a mosque dedicated to Muslim saint,
Sheikh Salim Chisti who blessed Akbar
with his only son, Salim. Night Stay
in Bharatpur. |

Jaipur |
Bharatpur/Jaipur: Early
morning drive to Jaipur, a showcase
for Rajasthan's distinctive architecture.
Visit the astronomical observatory
& city palace.The palace museum
houses collections of rare manuscripts,
costumes, miniature paintings, carpets
& an armory. |

Jaipur |
Jaipur: Morning, excursion
to Amber Fort, the ancient capital
of the state until 1728. Visit the
Jagmandir or the hall of victory glittering
with mirrors, Jal Mahal and Temple
of Kali. Ascend on elephant back,
the hill on which the fort is situated.
Drive past Hawa Mahal , the palace
of winds and through the pink rose
residential / business areas of Jaipur.
In the evening you have enough time
for shopping for some colorful handicrafts
, ornate jewelry & ethinic cloths
in the bazar . Overnight at hotel. |

Pushkar |
Jaipur/Pushkar: Early
Morning Transfer to Pushkar Fair by
car / coach. It is believed that Hindu
God Brahma was pondering about a place
to perform a Vedic rite when a Lotus
flower fell from his hand and water
gushed out from that spot in this
desert. Lake Pushkar is considered
to be the only one of its kind in
India! Thousands of faithful assemble
here every year on a full moon day
to celebrate the occasion & pay
homage to their lord. In a continuos
celebration for three days & nights
they turn this desert land into a
colorful bazaar. The desert becomes
alive with colors, music, sounds and
excitement. Walk to Brahma Temple,
located across the fair grounds, go
for a hot ballon ride,try your hand
at body tattoing,consult a local astrologer,
watch camels racing, enjoy cultural
dances & let the festive spirits
overtake you. |

Pushkar |
Pushkar: Early morning
visit bathing ghats of Pushkar, where
thousands of pilgrims take holy bath.
Return back to Hotel for breakfast
.After breakfast, day at Pushkar Mela.
Spend the day walking through the
traditional decorated fair ground
and view various activities, like
- dance, camel races and many more.
Overnight stay in Pushkar. |

Jodhpur |
Pushkar/Jodhpur: Transfer
to Jodhpur by car / coach. On arrival
in Jodhpur Stroll through Jodhpur's
bazaar. Visit ancient Meherangarh
Fort,built during the 15'th& 16'th
centuries .view some of the magnificent
palaces with wonderfull collection
of miniature paintings, costumes &
furniture & palanquins, and the
MotiMahal (pearlpalace). Transfer
to Hotel for overnight stay. |

Jaisalmer |
Jodhpur/Jaisalmer: Transfer
to Jaiselmer by car / coach. One of
the last bastions of princely India,
Jaisalmer is famous for the Fort and
colorful mansions known as Havelis.
On arrival check in at Hotel. Stroll
through narrow streets of Jaisalmer
Golden city-. Tour of the city during
the night for take pictures of the

Jaisalmer: After breakfast,
in the morning visit of Jasialmer.
Sightseeing includes: tour of Gadisar
artificial lake; Jaisalmer Fort; Jain
Temples and Havelis;In the afternoon:
camel safari to golden sand dunes
and enjoy desert sunset, en-route
visiting Bora Bag and Ram Kund (Royal
Cenotaphs and Rama Temple ), Roopsi,
Chhatrel and Doojasar villages. In
the evening attend a cultural show
with dinner. Overnight at Jaisalmer. |

Bikaner |
Jaisalmer/Bikaner: Early
morning drive to Bikaner by car /
coach. City tour visiting the Moon
Palace, Flower Palace, Fort, Lalgarh
Palace, Bhandeshwar Jain temple and
National Camel Research Center. The
Lalgarh Palace is a unique blend of
oriental facade and occidental interiors.
The royal family still resides in
one part and the other part has been
turned into a luxury hotel. The palace
museum has an incredible collection
of the former maharaja's personal
possessions. |

Mandawa |
Bikaner/ Mandawa: Transfer
to Mandawa by car / coach. City tour.
Mandawa is a town in the Shekhawati
region of northeastern Rajasthan.
Shekhawati is famous around the World
for the fresco-painted homes of its
trading community. They offer fascinating
insight into the skills and creative
imagination of the artists who worked
walls, covering lintels, ceilings
and every conceivable corners of homes,
temples, castles and palaces. |

Mandawa/Delhi: Drive to
